We offer Home Boarding, Day Care and Walks for Dogs only and Drop In Visits for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals.
We ask that you bring your pet's own food to avoid any dietary issues, and there are numerous water bowls around the house and garden.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your pet's bed or toys to make them feel more comfortable during their Home Boarding stay.
All dogs need to be fully vaccinated, including Kennel Cough. We ask for a copy of their vaccination records for our files and the last date of flea and tick treatment.
You never know what is around the corner, but if your dog becomes ill or has an accident, we will inform you and discuss the next steps. Obviously, if they need to go straight to the Vets, we will contact you en route.
We have an agreement with our vets: Quantock Veterinary Hospital, Bridgwater, with a smaller (closer) branch in Nether Stowey, and your dog will be taken there for treatment.
Any veterinary bills shall be directly charged to the customer
Somerset Fields do not accept unneutered adult dogs. Unneutered males under 1 year may be accepted and are assessed on an individual basis.
We do not accept females in season.
Day Care runs from 7.30 am to 6 pm Monday-Friday.
Drop off and collection times must be arranged before arrival as, for safety reasons, Somerset Fields will only complete one dog handover at a time.
Our boarding rates are charged per 24 hours from the time of drop off.
We are flexible with drop off / pick up times, however we recommend drop off anytime between 7.30 am and 1 pm. This is to allow the dog to settle in and adjust before bedtime.

We ask all clients to sign a copy of the Service Agreement before any services are carried out and ou can retain a copy for your records.
Somerset Fields can receive payment in cash, card or via bank transfer.
50% non-refundable deposit is payable to hold an available space when services are booked. The balance is due on or before the arrival of the dog on the first day of the booking.
